THE APPLICATION PROCESS
4 STEPS TO BECOME A GUARD
SEND US YOUR APPLICATION
Send us your (unsolicited) application via e-mail and tell us everything we need to know about you! Why are you the perfect fit for DataGuard? What are your professional superpowers? What are you especially proud of? How will you help us make data privacy a no-brainer for companies?
GET READY FOR AN INTERVIEW
After thorougly scanning your application documents, one of our recruiters will get in touch with you and schedule a short and casual 20-minute call to get to know each other. This will give both you and us the chance to see if we are a good fit and if we’re ready to set out on a joint journey.
SHINE ON THE ASSESSMENT DAY
In the next step we will invite you to the assessment day (either remote or in one of our offices). This special day is your chance to truly shine: you will meet your team for the first time, have lunch with your new colleagues, work on and present a working challenge and meet and talk to one of our founders.
ENJOY YOUR ONBOARDING AT DATAGUARD!
ANY QUESTIONS LEFT?
CHECK OUT OUR FAQs
Where are your offices located?
Do you provide support to new employees moving home or arriving from abroad?
Yes, we help employees from abroad with all aspects of their move to Germany, and we also aid employees already in Germany in their search for accommodation. For employees from abroad, we work with a relocation service that specialises in handling the immigration process quickly and conveniently for everyone involved. We also have an apartment that we rent so that new employees have somewhere to live at short notice while they look for accommodation.
How many vacation days do I have at DataGuard?
Our employees are given six additional vacation days on top of the statuary vacation days. This number increases by one after one, three and five years you are employed with us.
How does the onboarding process work?
When you start your journey with us, you will be provided with a buddy who will support you throughout the entire onboarding process. You will attend various appointments so that you can get to know other new recruits, management personnel and your team. If you have time to spare before your official start date, we will also try to organise a "soft onboarding" so that you can get to know the team in advance. Regular catch-ups with your buddy, your manager and HR will round off your onboarding process to help you feel right at home with us in no time.
Will I have the option of working from home?
Generally, we try to work in the office as much as we can, while paying due regard to necessary hygiene measures. “At-risk” groups, however, are of course free to choose whether they want to work at the office or from home.
